Eye Candy

On Friday afternoon I was meeting a friend for a mani-pedi and I was running a bit late. So I decided to catch a taxi to the MTR station. When we got to Queens Road the traffic was all jammed up. It took us quite a long time to get to our turn onto Pedder St. When we were finally able to make the turn, we saw what the hold-up was.

Hundreds of people were in the street and on the sidewalk with cameras flashing and lots of cheering. The new Abercrombie & Fitch flagship store will be opening on the 11th and as a warmup a large number of the models (boys in red shorts and no shirts) were on the steps of the new store waving and posing for the crowds.

At that time, I couldn't get close enough for a photo. Everyone between me and the boys was over six feet tall and I couldn't duck under that many elbows and still get to the MTR on time. So I went on my way with a smile on my face.

Saturday Ken and I were running some errands and found ourselves in the same area. He wanted to see the store and as we turned the corner what do we see? The boys were back and this time crowd control was much better. So for those of you who have never had the opportunity to see the models up close and personal - enjoy!
